Purchasing eBooks
Buying an eBook couldn't be easier. Browse the Amazon Kindle store
directly from the device, search for the book you want and download
it. Most books cost a lot less than bookshop prices and are ready
to read in under 1 minute. What's more, you're not destroying acres
of rainforest to acquire your written material. The Kindle2 is not
just for books either; newspapers, magazines, blogs, Wikipedia,
and audio books are also available at your finger tips. Furthermore,
most eBooks are available on a 'try before you buy' basis, so you
can read the first couple of chapters and then decide if you want
to buy it or not.
Backups
Every book you buy is backed up at Amazon, so you have your own
personal media library online. If you are worried about losing your
collection of eBooks then don't, just go to your Amazon account
and they are all there to download
again at no extra charge. Although the Kindle can store over 1,500
titles, you can also add an SD memory card to hold even more. But
why would you need to do that if you can re-download them anytime
you like.
